We do not take on repairs or alterations to costume jewellery, plated pieces or any item with a base-metal setting that cannot be worked without damaging the finish.
Work on items that are not lawfully yours is declined, without exception. We ask for proof of ownership or a clear account of how the piece came to you.
We turn away rushed jobs where a customer cannot allow time for assessment, agreed work and proper finishing, because haste is how stones are lost and settings weakened.
Gemmological certification and formal valuations fall outside our work. We restore and remake, and we refer you to an independent valuer where a document is needed.
